CryoCube

A compact CubeSat platform for cryogenic fluid management experiments

System Overview

CryoCube is a 3U CubeSat with a deployable sunshield that enables elements of the payload to reach cryogenic temperatures. Its payload is a pressure system for cryogenic fluid management experiments, developed by Sierra Lobo in collaboration with NASA Kennedy Space Center under Space Act Agreement KCA-4383.

Designed with mission assurance as a priority, this system leverages Sierra Lobo's engineering heritage to support robust performance in demanding operational environments.

Key Features

Deployable sunshield for cryogenic payload temperatures
Three-axis attitude control with reaction wheels and magnetorquers
Pressure system instrumented with one pressure sensor and 12 temperature sensors
